After the Gryps Conflict of UC 0087, The Earth Federation reclaimed the data of the RX-160 Byarlant, being only non-transformable mobile suit with sustained atmospheric flight ability. However this never happened until in UC 0096, in where the mobile suit researchers redeveloped the said mobile suit into the RX-160S Byarlant Custom. The Byarlant Custom possesses enhanced speed, agility, and self-sustained atmospheric flight over the original and its capabilities were achieved through the incorporation of powerful thrusters in its shoulders, waist, and back with two large-capacity fuel tanks in its back to keep the thrusters fueled. It also has new feet design derived from the NRX-055 Baund Doc, the heels and toes can be fold into claws.
Being testbed mobile suit, it doesn't fix Byarlant's flaw at limited armaments. Instead, Byarlant Custom is refitted with parts from various Titans' mobile suit.

The Mono-eye sensor was replaced with EFF standard compound type sensors. Two Byarlant Custom units were produced at Torrington Base: Unit 01, fitted with leg units and claw manipulators derived from the RX-110 Gabthley, and Unit 02, which was scheduled to be equipped with a thruster unit developed from the ORX-005 Gaplant. Development staff have referred to the project as a composite "creature" (Chimera) of Titans mobile suits.

Weapons
  • Mega Particle Cannon - A fixed armament mounted on Byarlant Custom's forearms, it works as the only range weapons the mobile suit has, the power is rated at 4.7MW. It seems to have a higher rate of fire in place of beam thickness, but that in no way makes it any less dangerous.
  • Beam Saber - Unlike the original Byarlant, there are no beam sabers stored in the recharge racks of the arms. Instead the beam saber is made with the mega particle cannon emitter on each arm.
  • Claw Arm - Since its production, the Byarlant Custom were armed with two claw arms for close combat. These can be only used if the power supply of the mobile suit is low. The claw arms taken from the Gabthley seem stronger, but are even more unsuitable for wielding weapons.
The Assault of Torrington Base
The Byarlant Custom was first deployed against the Zeon remnants during the assault of Torrington Base. During its first deployment the Byarlant Custom destroyed multiple Zeon remnant mobile suits, including two AMS-129M Zee Zulu. The Byarlant Custom pushed back the Zeon remnant forces with the help of Londo Bell's Tri-Stars mobile suit team and other Earth Federation forces.

The MSN-001X Gundam Delta Kai (pronounced 'Kai') (aka δ Kai or δΧ) is a prototype transformable mobile suit developed from the MSN-001 Delta Gundam as a technology demonstrator. It appears in the PlayStation 3 video game Mobile Suit Gundam UC (The Postwar) and UC-MSV. In overall appearance, the Gundam Delta Kai is an enhanced version of the Delta Gundam, which incorporates new technologies that can be used for future mobile suits. It also has a specialized Psycommu system installed called the Nitro System, which grants an ordinary pilot Newtype abilities. The Gundam Delta Kai is also armed with standard vulcan guns, a long mega buster, two beam sabers and a shield. But also equipped with two fin funnels on its back.
 
Weapons 
  • Vulcan gun: The vulcan gun has been a standard armament of Federation suits since the One Year War. While not very powerful and typically unable to penetrate mobile suit armor, the vulcan gun is useful in intercepting missiles/rockets, destroying mobile suit sensors, and engaging lightly-armored targets such as tanks and small aircraft. 
  •  Long Mega Buster: A specialized Beam Rifle with a power output comparable to a beam cannon. It was developed from the RX-78-4 Gundam Unit 4 "G04"'s Long Beam Cannon. 
  • Beam Saber: The Delta Gundam Kai's close combat armaments. It is able to melt through most armor and destroy most mobile suits in one strike. 
  • Shield: The Delta Gundam Kai's defensive armament. It doubles as the unit's forward section in waverider mode. 
  • Fin Funnels: The Delta Kai mounts two Proto Fin Funnels on its back.

  • The MSN-06S Sinanju (aka Sinanju, MSN-06S) is a mobile suit featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It is the modified version of Anaheim Electronics's MSN-06S Sinanju Stein. It is piloted by Full Frontal.
  • Originally the MSN-06S Sinanju Stein developed by Anaheim Electronics as part of the Earth Federation's "UC Project", its movable frame is partly made from psycoframe materials. All of the Gundam-like features (except for the vulcan) in the Sinanju Stein have been replaced with a Zeonic-like design and weaponry, making it reminiscent of the Sazabi.

- A new framework developed to embody the Unicorn Gundam as RG. By "Advanced MS Framework" equipped with three gimmicks, [Advanced MS Joint], [Lock Mechanism], [Link Mechanism], we realize high stability after assembly and compatibility of movement of each part.

- 01: New frame pursuing a transformation mechanism [Advanced MS joint]
I thoroughly examined the transformation to the destroy mode, and created a new frame. It is the new design pursuing the transformation mechanism, [Advance MS joint] which is responsible for its center.

- 02: Precise locking mechanism to lock parts when transforming [lock mechanism]
Besides the armored part of the external forearm, locking mechanism for fixing parts after transformation is installed in various places. Realize high stability after transformation.

- 03: RG original proprietary [link mechanism] to reproduce a smooth transformation
The characteristic leg leg transformation of Unicorn Gundam is reproduced with a new [link mechanism]. This mechanism enables smooth transformation while alleviating the assembly process.

- Precise reproduction of weapon deployment. In addition to deployment of the psycho-frame of the shield, the cartridge detaching mechanism of beam · magnum is reproduced.
