Bandai's "BB Senshi" line of "SD" Gundam kits (SD stands for "Super Deformed") are cute little comic interpretations of machines from the original Gundam series. Kits are molded in color and feature easy snap-assembly, suitable for young kids. Many also have little spring-loaded missile shooters that launch plastic projectiles (hands, bombs, etc.). MG 1/100 RX-93 Nu Gundam

The RX-93 ν Gundam Double Fin Funnel Type (Nu Gundam Double Fin Funnel Type) is a Mobile Suit piloted by the main character, Amuro Ray. It first appeared in Char's Counterattack Mobile Suit Variations.


Wikipedia information
In response to the rise of Char Aznable's second Neo Zeon movement in the early UC 0090s, the Earth Federation Forces create a special task force called Londo Bell to investigate and stop the new rebellion. One of Londo Bell's mobile suit pilots is famed One Year War ace Amuro Ray, whose Newtype abilities are essential to stopping Char's forces. Londo Bell commissions Anaheim Electronics to build a new Gundam-type mobile suit for Amuro's use, incorporating the latest in psychic communication technology. Anaheim's result is the RX-93 v Gundam (v being the Greek symbol "nu"). The v Gundam's basic design is created by Amuro himself, but construction and final modifications are supervised by Anaheim engineer October. October incorporates the latest piece of psychic communication technology - supposedly leaked to Anaheim by Char's Neo Zeon - called the "psycoframe." Composed of microscopic-sized psycommu receptor chips, October incorporates the new psycoframe technology into the v Gundam's cockpit frame, not only reducing its total weight but giving the pilot an edge in being able to more easily read an enemy's thoughts and movements.

However, Char's forces begin to move quickly, and the final rollout date for the v Gundam is moved up. Amuro takes possession of the v Gundam and returns to the Londo Bell task force to prepare his new mobile suit for the coming fight with Char. 

Unfortunately, the psycoframe advantage also has its drawbacks. October warns Amuro that the psycoframe can create "powerful unknown phenomenae," and this proves true when Amuro attempts to use the v Gundam to single-handedly stop half of the asteroid base Axis from falling on Earth. When other mobile suit pilots join in the effort to push the giant rock from its decaying orbit, the concentration of so many minds on a single task causes the v Gundam's psycoframe cockpit to overload, resulting in the mobile suit's destruction... and Earth's salvation as Axis is pushed away by the overwhelming psychic force. Psycoframe development continues after the war, and in UC 0096 the Vist Foundation rolls out the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, a mobile suit that incorporates the psycoframe throughout its entire body.

Weapons
  • Fin funnel - Along with the psycoframe, the v Gundam is also equipped with six "fin funnels," a new evolution in Newtype-controlled remote weaponry. Although they are technically "bits" and not "funnels" (since the fin funnels have their own onboard reactors for power), they are far more advanced than normal bits or funnels in that, in addition to serving as remote beam weapons, they can also be used in geometric formations to create a "beam barrier", offering a target 360 degrees of protection against most weapons fire. By combining these advanced remote weapons with a Newtype pilot's psycoframe-enhanced abilities, the v Gundam proves to be an unstoppable foe for the common Neo Zeon pilot.

[092] HGUC 1/144 Geara Doga (Rezin Schnyder Use)

The AMS-119 Geara Doga is a mass-production general-purpose mobile suit, it is first featured in the anime movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, the design was later updated and featured in the Novel/OVA Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. The unit is piloted by Rezin Schnyder and Layla Lagiorr.

The AMS-119 Geara Doga is a general purpose mobile suit with technology and design features descended from the old MS-06F Zaku II mobile suit. Since the resources of Char's Neo Zeon are limited, the Geara Doga was not a particularly high-performing mobile suit when compared to the machines that Haman Karn's Neo Zeon produced during the First Neo Zeon War only four years earlier; however, they were well in line with the style of mobile suit design of the day. Although it wasn’t really a high-performance suit it was enough for most soldiers, easy to mass-produce and thanks to its wide variety of weapons it could be a threat for the Earth Federation's own mass-produced suit, the RGM-89 Jegan.

The Geara Doga features a wide variety of weapons to cope with different combat situations. Its only fixed armaments are a beam sword-axe for close combat and an electric wire. It can also be equipped with a shield with four grenade launchers and two different types of beam machine guns, each mounting additional weaponry. The Geara Doga is fitted with old Zeonic-style large mono-eye head sensors that are able to detect targets at a longer range and thus make a faster offensive, however, when within combat range, the sensor's performance becomes limited in terms of target-tracking. With its versatility, maneuverability, and maintainability, the Geara Doga combines all the necessary factors as a practical weapon while earning the trust of mechanics and pilots in the field.

Metal Robot Spirits (SIDE MS) Nu Gundam

Amuro Ray's final mobile suit, the Nu Gundam, finally joins the "Metal Robot Spirits" action-figure  series from Bandai! In addition to the Nu Gundam's standard equipment, the set includes a variety of effect parts so you can recreate famous scenes from the series! The Nu Gundam's distinctive monotone coloring and level of detail, even on the soles of its feet and the underside of its shield, are faithfully recreated to the original design. It's fully equipped, too, with its eye-catching fin funnels. Die-cast parts are used primarily for the joints; stable posing is possible even with the fin funnels equipped, which are balanced differently on the left and right. The beam rifle is included, and Amuro's personal mark is reproduced on the shield. The New Hyper Bazooka can be held in the hand, or mounted on the back; the fin funnels can be displayed in a firing position using special joints and effect parts. Builder's Note (Important)

  • Skill Level: Advanced/Expert. As a third-party kit, tolerances may be tighter than official Bandai products. You may need to sand pegs, trim "under-gated" nubs carefully, or use a pin vise to widen holes for a perfect fit.

  • Articulation vs. Detail: While fully articulated, the sheer volume of the armor design limits range of motion slightly compared to a standard MG Nu Gundam Ver.[5] Ka. It is designed primarily for a commanding shelf presence and static posing.
