The Pteranodon, the most iconic flying pterosaur, joins the "Plannosaurus" model-kit lineup from Bandai! Begin with the "skeletal build," assembling the creature's skeleton piece by piece; the "dinosaur build" then allows you to attach the outer skin parts to the skeleton. The Pteranodon's gigantic beak, which has a delicate skeleton covered with tough keratin, is three-dimensionalized based on the latest theory, including the structure of its mouth. The wing membrane realistically expresses the flow of muscular fibers on its surface, and the pterosaur-specific wing bones, which are said to have been used as elevators, are recreated using the latest construction.
